The U. Army Corps of Engineers at Enid Lake manages the 17 mile multi-purpose trail. The trail provides visitors with recreational opportunities including camping, hiking, equestrian riding and a chance to visit historical areas of Enid Lake. This mile marked paddling trail near Winona, MN, traverses broad pools, islands, braided channels, and extensive bottomland forest.
The Wacissa River is one of the most pristine rivers in Florida with a multitude of springs flowing through a rugged area in Florida's Big Bend region. The Wacissa is a state designated paddling trail and a wonderful place to explore for beginning paddlers or families with children. Community partnerships enabled improvements to the Coastal Trail at Lands End for safe and accessible recreation that also protects native landscape, plants, and wildlife.
